Cruella became a sadistic maniac that wanted to kill puppies for WHAT reason now? No, seriously, this 'prequel' doesn't explain **** Just another lazy attempt at making their irredeemably evil villains appear 'complex' because that's what's trendy right now. The Cruella in this movie is NOT the same character as the one in 101 Dalmatians- not even close.
Oh, and let's not forget this movie is filled with the same array of issues as all their other live adaptations. **** writing, **** casting, **** pacing. At least the visual style and costume design are decent-good-ish. So there's that, at least.
