Review of Cruella (2021) by Drewkd2006 — 31 May 2021
This movie was a different spin on Cruella's character and I think it works in this era of films we are living in. The movie has fantastic editing and dialogue. The main antagonist was menacing and well written.
Two issues I had with the movie was the frequent use of licensed songs and the CGI. Most of the music in the scenes felt out of place and the CGI was not Aladdin levels of bad, more 2007 era movies. Most of the movie used practical effects so that felt nice.
Watch this movie for the characters and enjoy.
