Review of Cruella (2021) by Blondephantom — 30 May 2021
Too much hype for nothing. I've been hyped for this since it was announced and I'm very disappointed. Better save your time and money.
The movie tries too hard (clearly with awards in mind), the plot is awful and boring. Sadly the movie is supposed to be about Cruella but could be about any other character who wants to be a fashion designer with no cares for the law, the writers apparently don't know much about the title character. I think the good reviews are not objective thanks to the good cast.
The only good thing worth noting apart from the good cast is the stunning costume design.
I have to add I wouldn't recommend this movie for kids because in the end it sends kids the wrong message.
