Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) by Daniel M — 15 Jul 2014

A very entertaining martial arts film. The way its choreographed makes it seem like an intricate dance. The acting throughout is very good, and the story is interesting. Although I am not the biggest fan of the last few moments of the film, I realize its meant to symbolize her escaping to the clouds, but still seemed odd.

I must admit certain elements of the obvious wire jumping was a tad bit distracting but when I began to think of it more as a dance it stopped bothering me. Recommended viewing for fans of asian cinema.
