Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) by Voodoo123 — 26 Nov 2022

CTHD is a sentimental period drama wrapped in a martial arts package. The writing, soundtrack, cast and fight choreography are superb keeping you drawn in. The quality of the production is exceptional and holds up well in 2022.

I suppose the only criticism for me is that Ang Lee never chooses to lean fully towards either the action or the drama so neither get the full focus to truly bring forth a 'perfect movie' experience.
