Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) by Brandon W — 20 Feb 2015

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is one of those movies that I keep seeing it, but never get a chance to watch it. It was also well-known, but I didn't know why, until I watched it. It's one of those films that I never seen before, which that alone, makes it very memorable.

The fights are nothing I have seen before and they are amazing. The acting is good, the scenery is really cool to look at, and the soundtrack is catchy to listen. The story is original, the love story is well done, and the direction by Ang Lee is really good.

The flying scenes actually look natural, and it doesn't really have a much of a villain which is refreshing to see. Overall, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a masterpiece of a movie and I can see how this turn Ang Lee into a famous director.
