Review of Crossroads (2002) by Robert P — 18 Aug 2012
I loved it. This was such a sweet, funny movie. It shows the struggles of growing up and being stuck in between being a girl and a women. Britney plays an innocent, "nerdy" character. Mimi is pregnant, and her stereotype is "trailer trash" and Kit has become glamorous and popular.
From a young age they had been best friends, and they had buried a box with their wishes in a cemetery. When they dig it up, they realize that although they have drifted apart, they still have a lot of similarities.
Mimi's wish sends them on an adventurous road trip to LA with Ben as the driver and all of them sneak out of the house. They must find a way to make money. There are good times and times they get angry, and frustrated, but they soon realize that at this point, they are all in this together, and in order to make this trip they must learn to be civil to one another, and with Lucy and Ben even a little more than civil once sparks start to fly ;) It's truly a great movie.
I recommend every girl watch it. It's not really a guys movie though haha! I hope this helped you!
