Really, really wanted to give it another half-star for filming it in Detroit and whatnot, but the acting was between passable and laughable, the characters were inconsistent, and some scenes needed to be trimmed.
Overall, it's an "alright" afternoon flick with respectable basketball moves but a weak, jerky storyline.
