Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Se7Enth A — 12 Jul 2009
Seen and liked Crash/Babel? Then one would probably appreciate this heart wrenching immigration, citizenship and ethic tales set in LA. I found that the most effective performances comes from the 3 foreign actresses.
They portray victimised characters looking for a better future in a country the rest probably take for granted. The movie tends to go off its rails as there are too many characters spinning in too many directions but bear with it.
It is better than some Hollywood crap thats in the box office ladder lately.
