Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Kathleen P — 30 May 2009
Not very cohesive; there were multiple storylines which were kind of all over the place and not too well put together. Some of it was interesting, about how people want to be in the U.S. so badly, and it can make you think about what people are willing to do and what people are also force into once they are here.
But some of it seemed a little too cliche or stereotypical. I think it would have been more interesting to have gone into maybe 3 storylines more in depth instead of all of them just skimming the surface.
It is hard to care about the characters; except for maybe Harrison Ford's character, which is easily the only character I could really feel for.
