Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Yohanes A — 04 Jul 2009
An interesting take on illegals in America and what they would do for legal status. Well that paired with a few who walk down the wrong path in an effort to merge their origins with the spirit of the land of the free, the movie basically concentrates on the negativities rather than the likelihood of some illegal immigrant actually making it.
Well there were a few cases, but they tend to get lost in the bundle of various characters and sub-plots that don't really go to the extent of connecting them at the end. But through it all, I pretty much enjoyed the movie considering it had quite a decent cast and a good story to tell.
