Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Elizabeth H — 13 Feb 2010
Mix up The Visitor (immigration and deportation) , Crash (lots of connected stories) & Gran Tarino (grumpy old good hearted man and Asian gangs) add lots of sex, violence and language and you get Crossing Over.
I watched it because of the cultures but it was too vulgar for me (my mom warned me and I should have listened) and I didn't connect to the characters like other movies.
My recommendation-stick with The Visitor.
