Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Scot C — 23 Feb 2011

The concept of this film in a way is similar to Crash, but not near as powerful. It is somewhat entertaining, with a solid moral to the story. There are some good performances, and interesting insight into peoples lives with their immigration and illegal immigration.

I feel that this film had so much potential to go further than what it actually did, but it just held back in many areas. It's engaging somewhat, but not enough to make this a memorable film. The moral of the story is, that breaking the law can easily catch up to you.

It's a decent enough film to watch.
