Review of Cross of Iron (1977) by Ben D — 23 Aug 2007
This is a gem of a war movie from the master of testosterone filmmaking. Its original perspective, solid storyline, great performances and trademark Peckinpah action scenes add up to what is one of the best films of the genre.
The real tragedy is that this is the only war movie Sam Peckinpah.
