Overblown & marginally interesting. Some clever bits, here & there. Great acting. But trying too hard to be All Quiet on the Western Front. 50% of the movie is simply random combat. One scene looks no different than another.
Preachy, indulgent, self-righteous torture porn. A lot of noise.
