Review of Crooklyn (1994) by Cornelius Y — 13 Jun 2007
This movie shows the heartache between love and dreams. The mother and father are in love, but dad is very much into his vision of becoming a great musician, but mom wants him to get a real job. Mom holds the family together. We see all of this through the eyes of a little girl who gets a taste of her own reality when she moves down South with her "Aunty".
I liked it. Just a little long.
