Review of Critters 3 (1991) by Nathan H — 24 Dec 2007
Leonardo DiCaprio's first major role! Like so many other late '80s and early '90s horror flicks, this is a picture worth seeing only for the strange glimpses of a future star (see "Cutting Class" for Brad Pitt, and "Return to Horror High" for George Clooney).
"Critters 3" is pretty much the same deal as the previous two, except that it cuts back production values (if that's possible), and sets the entire film in a building. Very few characters, very few sets, but it's always fun to see the furballs rolling around and eating things.
Alas, though, it is simply a copy of a copy of a copy, a pale re-creation of the first two films.
