Of "The Three Amigos", Del Toro have always been the best designer, but the worst storyteller; not because is bad writer, is entertaining and clever, but his stories doesn't. Crimson Peak is not the exception: the amazing visual style could be from the best of the director, performances are good, but the predictable and cliched story is the worst part, with a worn out message: "humanity can be the greatest horror".
