Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Semen A — 05 Nov 2015
Highly stylised with a rich tapestry of authenticity and elaborate sets that draws the viewer into Del Toro's vision. The plot does not seek to take us anywhere new and remains steady paced throughout but is engaging nontheless.
As with any truly immersive film it is over without you noticing that 2 hours has passed. A pleasing journey.
