Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Pepper B — 20 Dec 2015
Crimson Peak was eerie sweet...
Crimson Peak was much more than the ghostly scary movie I anticipated. The storyline was totally sick and twisted with true love underlying it all.
Tom (Thomas) and Mia (Edith) had great chemistry. And Jessica's (Lucille) was Oscar-worthy.
This flick was chilling, dark, and slithery. Pools of blood oozed secrets through shadows of ghosts. The period piece setting gave it a nice effect. And I always enjoy movies beginning with the final scene as a story telling feature.
It was somewhat predictable, but nonetheless interesting.
