SO CLOSE. This film was almost a perfect Gothic film. It had all the right elements and could have rubbed shoulders with Dracula and Frankenstein, except for one problem. Why...why does Hollywood think every horror movie needs crappy CGI ghosts? There are only two ghosts that are really necessary to the plot and neither needed to be "scary.
" They weren't the part that was supposed to be scary so why are they like that?! I'm so sick of this and it really spoils what is otherwise an almost perfect film.
