Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Chazzrabble — 24 Sep 2016
This whole movie just felt off to me. I think it was the timing and the acting more than anything else. There were scenes that were presumably meant to be scary, but no emotion came through at all. The reactions from what the main character was seeing were so bland that it just made no sense at all.
I had to turn this off 20 minutes before the end as I just couldn't handle any more of it. The movie looked great, but I felt nothing from it. And I am a big horror fan. Better luck next time Guillermo.
