Crimson Peak is a Gothic Ghost Story that tells the tale of love, loss and betrayal. This film is a Del Toro film through and through, focusing on atmosphere and characters over bravado and cheap thrills. If you are expecting a horror film, you will be disappointed. It is a Gothic Ghost Story more akin to Wuthering Heights than Bram Stokers Dracula.
Solid Film, Gorgeous Visuals and excellent cast. 4/5 Worth seeing.
