Let me warn you of two things before you check out this movie. First, this is not a horror movie. To quote the film itself, "This is not a ghost story. It's a story containing ghosts." so don't expect to be frightened when watching this.

Secondly, Crimson Peak plays more as a stage play rather than a feature film. If you don't like the way stage plays are acted and chereographed then you'll most likely not like this movie. With that out of the way, Crimson Peak is an interesting gothic romance story that can intrigue someone for 2 hours.

My biggest problem with this film is the third act. It just falls apart. I recommend this movie the Del Toro enthusiasts and people who like darkly atmospheric love stories.
