This was a lot of fun, but it's not for those looking for horror gore. The movie has one of the great villains of all-time, but we won't tell you who it is to keep this review spoiler free. The slow tension building pace doesn't keep the movie from being brisk.
Guillermo del Toro's mind is one to marvel at as he directed and co-wrote a fun, and sometimes chilling film. Final Score: 8.3/10.
