Review of Crimewave (1985) by Sam V — 04 Jul 2007
Extremely obscure B-Movie directed by Raimi and Written by the Coen Bros. Its too weird to be great, but there are some hilarious scenes, and quotable lines every other scene. The overall insanity of this film would have one thinking it would be a bright star in the cult-movie section, but it is still very difficult to find.
Bruce Campbell is particularly funny in his role as the sleazy jerk. "Why dont we go back to my place for some scotch and sofa?".
