Review of Crimewave (1985) by Fabien D — 12 Jan 2009
This movie is really awesome and I'm surprised it doesn't have a bigger following since it's a collaborative effort between Sam Raimi and the Coen Brothers.
If you had a blender and mixed in some classic noir with some Raising Arizona, and a dash of Evil Dead styled camera work, you'd get this highly insane crime comedy. It's a silly movie at times, but it's all entirely entertaining.
A must see for fans of Evil Dead and Raising Arizona.
