For Sam Raimi/Coen Brothers/Bruce Campbell completists only, CrimeWave is really trying way too hard to be a funny, wacky comedy but fails on almost every level. It's interesting to see some of the cogs in the Raimi/Coen genius cranking but I don't know if we should be too beat up that this flick is out of print.
A little charm, but not much. VF.
