Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Chris H — 04 Feb 2008
One of my favourite Woody Allen films. It is interesting to view this film in light of the breakup of Woody's relationship with Mia Farrow which occured shortly after this film was released. Martin Landau was nominated for an Academy Award which he should have won.
There is some humour but this is a serious drama that reflects upon morality and guilt.
