Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Janine M — 17 Feb 2008
Not anywhere near Woody Allen's best, but still an alright movie in its own right. The parallel stories idea was interesting, but I found myself far more interested in Woody's story instead of Martin Landau.
The ending kinda petered out without a significant dénouement, which made to movie lose points for me. Other than that, it's an alright Woody Allen flick with some interesting shots and a decent twist to it, but it's no Annie Hall or Manhattan.
