Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Jules E — 29 Aug 2011
It felt kind of awkward for a while how distant the two stories were, but it made the end so much more awesome.
Alan Alda was hilariously villainic (?) and I adored Martin Landau's performance as the almost dazed, guilt-stricken sort-of-killer. Woody Allen is hilarious and simultaneously arrogant and self-loathing, as usual.
The women were great too.
