Review of Creepshow 3 (2006) by Chase F — 03 Mar 2008

Oh dear god they didn't. Hot of the non success of Day of the dead 2 Contagium they have decided to butcher another great franchise. This time with Creepshow. Make no mistake George and Stephen aren't involved with this one this time (although George has expressed that he would love to do another one, let's just hope that they can get the rights back from taurus entertainment and make that dream come true. Yes this one has gore but the creepiness has just gone from this one. This not Creepshow, it may have the name but it's not creepshow This has none of the feel of creepshow either. Terrible CGI effects replace some of the gore that was reall in the other two. The animation parts for the comic are just like either graffiti or looked like a child drew them. The stories were ok but everything was laughable. the hooker murdering clients was just so stupid and when the twist kicked in, I didnt shudder once, in fact I didn't even care. the acting was poor and the inclusion of The Creep was pointless as he only appears right at the very end and melts into a pile of CGI goo.

Ater this I hope that the company quit while they are ahead and give the rights back to George or Laurel entertainment and allow a better sequel to arise.
