Aparently a whopping 0% of critics liked this film. Now that's a slogan for a DVD sleve!

I read several reviews of this before deciding to buy it (and it cost me a fortune..£3 lol) and had low expectations going in, but I was very pleasntly surpised. The first thing of note is that the comic book style of the first two films has gone, being replaced with a more modern style animation. There are also no links between the films, just a coloured screen grab, then the next film kicks in. This does kind of harm this film a little, but not a great deal.

Also of note is the fact that all the films interlink in one way or another. It's a cleaver twist and sort of gives the whole thing a running theme. Some storys are better than others too. The first one (Alice) is an interesting idea, but isn't given long enough for it to work properly, the second one I feel sure has been done before etc.

Also, some of the story's don't make sense. Even in the context of the whole film there are several loose ends that don't quite add up.

It's also more of a comedy than a horror film. It's definatly NOT a scary movie and nowhere near as dark in tone as the first two films. In this respect, it's a total waste of the Creepshow name and is just anther anthology movie.

I think that it's definatly worth watching, just don't expect scares and shocks. I for one hope that a Creepshow 4 is made, but with George Romero and Steven King back involved again. I was watching the making of the original film the night before I watched this and George was saying how much he's love to make another one (or 7 or 8 as he said). Why not let him show everyone how it's done?
