Romero joins King in writing the script for Creepshow 2. Because of that, it does take a more campy approach to the horror-anthology style of filmmaking, and it's certainly not as good as the original, but I don't think its very bad either.
It's still pretty scary, funny, and atmospheric, just not as much as the original.
