Review of Creepshow 2 (1987) by Mr P — 13 May 2007
Yet another fun comic book style wrap-around story by legendary George Romero. Not as strong as the original, but definitely a fun flick to watch. "The Raft" segment is by far the strongest. A homage to b-movie lake monster movies, this is more than I could personally ask for.
The story with the wooden Indian is also very affective, being probably the most emotional of the grouping. Like the original, it has some good shocker moments and enough tongue in cheek comic book style humor to keep me entertained over and over again.
