Review of Creepshow (1982) by The Doctor John Kent — 29 Oct 2008
One of my favorite films. If you swapped out Jordy Verril and The Death of EG Marshall by Roaches with The Raft and Cat from Hell, I would give it five stars. As is, none of the stories are terrible - I just prefer the ones I mentioned to what is there.
The truly unnerving story in Creepshow is Ted Danson Goes to the Beach. Father's Day is a well-executed tale of supernatural revenge, and the Crate shows the best way to solves you problems involves a large crate and a hungry beast. Well acted, iconic effects, one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. Highly recommended.
