Review of Creep (2014) by Tim C — 24 Jun 2015

The movie actually started as another generic found footage film that had more funny moments than suspense, but what I didn't expect was how creepy and actual scary it got to be. As soon as the story progressed it really started to have a lot of build up and tension which was done very nicely and effectively. Also Mark Duplass was excellent as Josef, a very peculiar character that could've been like any other of its type but you could expect the unexpected from him. Overall I really liked this movie, even more than I thought I would, and so the wait since it premiered at SXSW was worth it, and hopefully there will be more from where this came from.
