Review of Creep (2014) by Jake Z — 27 Aug 2015
Mark Duplass turns in one of the best performances of this year. His average-guy likability is turned on its head, becoming something sinister, dangerous, and downright chilling. Creep will make you cringe and squirm while making you feel very, very, uncomfortable.
It's a disturbing, occasionally very funny, and clever entry in the 'found footage' sub-genre. It depicts something every one of us has experienced-- unbearably awkward human interaction.
