Review of Creep (2014) by Nathan R — 28 Nov 2016
A masterfully crafted psychological horror, with a deliciously dark ending and well-handled relationship between pro and antagonist.
Without giving too much away, the film warns us many times about how it would end. We just have to be brave enough to sit through until that point-- to see it through to the end-- just as Aaron does. It shows in a spectacular way that "evil" isn't always stereotypical English-accented Disney villains. It can be in the face of a very friendly man that we hope to believe is normal. That, to me, is what truly makes this film horrifying.
