Michael B. Jordan didn't disappoint with his directorial debut. The first sports film to be filmed in IMAX looks magnificent on the big screen. There are a few many ways to film a boxing scene, and being the 9th installment in the franchise Jordon still managed to keep the fights fresh and entertaining.
If you weren't on the train of " This is Jonathan Majors year" you surely will after watching this movie. The entire cast puts up an A-tier performance that takes the emotional depth of this movie to its heights.
Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa was surely missed, but this film does more than enough to stand on its own. I had a really great time in the theatre with this film, can't wait to see what more Michael B.
Jordan has to offer behind the camera in the future.
