Review of Creed (2015) by Jake V — 13 Feb 2016

Now this is a hard thing to do - revisit a beloved series of films that had taken a bit of a beating in the past and make it something special. Ryan Coogler does just that! Allowing fans of the original Rocky films to recognize the familiar, but letting those new to the tale to revel in the emotion of some great performances as well.

So well done that I'm rather shocked, in fact. Michael B. Jordan is terrific...and some really intense camera work inside the ring. Can't wait for Creed II.
