Creed stays true to the Rocky ways by moving at the same pace, brewing a enjoyable underdog story, and extending the Rocky saga into more possibilities. I can rally behind Adonis Johnson, but I cannot find myself to rally against Ricky Conlan.
Ricky Conlan is not a heel character that I can see in the same spotlight as Apollo Creed (Rocky and Rocky II), or Clubber Lang (Rocky III), or Drago (Rocky IV), or even Tommy Gunn (Rocky V).
