Review of Creed (2015) by Dcharles — 17 Dec 2015
A logical and strong entry in the Rocky cannon. Just like it's predecessor, the effective "Rocky Balboa", the film goes for the realism and heart of the first two Rocky films. Rocky Balboa (who Adonis Creed refers to as "Uncle") is now a sympathetic and endearing character who you want to root for just as much as Michael Jordan's Adonis Creed.
The finale (Creed must face a formidable opponent that is about to serve a very long prison sentence) is satisfying too.
