Review of Creed (2015) by Movi3R3Vi3Wer — 27 Nov 2015
Ryan Coogler is now two for two, first with Fruitvale Station and now with Creed, the best Rocky sequel yet. Creed in many ways is like the original Rocky, it’s a drama about the characters and boxing happens to be apart of it.
At it’s core, it’s a story about a young man who’s had nothing in life, no father, no home and it’s his battle with himself to make a name for himself. It’s a deeply moving and inspirational movie with excellent acting performances and some of the best boxing scenes I’ve ever seen put to film.
