Creed is a surprisingly triumphant sequel in the Rocky series. The film follows Adonis Creed, son of the famous Apollo Creed, who seeks to follow in his deceased father's footsteps, following a troubled childhood.

Michael B. Jordan takes on this role and masters it perfectly, proving to be one of Hollywood'a brightest young actors. Adonis moves to Philadelphia from his native California to accomplish this dream.

He seeks the help and guidance of Rocky Balboa, played again by Sylvester Stallone. It takes a while and lots of determination, but Adonis eventually convinces Rocky to train him. Their relationship is incredible, as it grows throughout the film and experiences many ups and downs along the way.

The two have genuine chemistry and it is one of the many highlights of the film. Creed also has a believable and testing relationship with his love interest Bianca, played by Tessa Thompson. Jordan and Thompson also have genuine chemistry and are cast perfectly.

Besides the incredible performances, the story is very well written, as it follows Creed's life from an extremely troubled childhood to a genuine professional boxer. It is obvious that the writers of the film took their time and wanted to tell a compelling story, which builds on the popular previous Rocky films.

Ryan Coogler also deserves great credit for directing this film and bringing it all together. The fights in this film are also some of the best parts. They are intense and realistic and portray the stakes and pressures on both fighters.

The fights are also well shot, using a mix of camera angles and motions, which are part of why the fights are so intense. The story may not be the most original, but it is told so well, that it overcomes some of the predictability and familiarity.

Overall, Creed is an inspirational and compelling story, that shows heart and determination can overcome any obstacles in life and allow anyone to achieve their dreams. The cast for this story is perfect and the fight sequences are captivating and intense, making Creed a genuine fun and eye-opening movie experience.
