I just watched the Rocky Films earlier this past year. When I was done watching it, I was a bit sad because I thought there wasn't any more Rocky Movies. When I discovered Creed, I was excited, but also a bit skeptical.
When I watched this film, the whole Rocky feeling came back to me even though it was Rocky in the ring. I loved the outline of Apollo Creed's son getting in the ring and the one and only Rocky Balboa training him.
It showed some parallels to the original Rocky movies and adding a bit of a twist, but it worked! The boxing match at the end kept me on my seat and anxious to see what was going to happen. I really enjoyed watching Sylvester Stallone in this film.
Sequels are usually terrible, but this film was great. I'm excited to see Creed II in a couple months.
