Review of Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) by Erin B — 21 Sep 2008

I'm trying to catch up with some of the classic horror films I haven't seen. This one was okay, even though it was pretty repetetive and cheesy. The gill-man looked pretty cool, at least considering it was 1954 and a B horror film, and likewise the underwater sequences were pretty neat.

But you see the monster once and you see him attack underwater it's cool, but after the 5th or 6th time it gets a little tiresome. Anyway, not bad, but not that great of a horror film.
