Made in 1954.A scientific expedition traveling up the Amazon River encounter a dangerous humanoid amphibious fish creature.Without 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' you wouldn't have Alien, Predator or many of the serial killer Monster type scary movies.
They all owe a great deal of gratitude to this film,the biggest highlight for me are the under water sequences and I find it amazing that Ricou Browning had to hold his breath for 3 minutes at a time while in the Creature Costume and I think the Gill Man is a Fascinating creation,a B Movie Classic.
