Very much enjoyed this one. Great performances and Bettany excels. Very moving. Had me in tears more than a couple of times. Other reviews show that some people were disappointed by the direction in which Amiel chose to take this film, and it was not at all what I had expected either after seeing the trailer.
But not knowing anything about Charles Darwin's life is probably what saved it for me. Sometimes ignorance IS bliss!
