Review of Creation (2009) by Eric G — 07 Feb 2010
Such a turning point in science, religion, philosophy and other domains... and such an introspective film makes me feel the director somehow lost the bigger picture and the potential of the film. The narration is quite complicated and oscillates between scenes from the past and the present in the life of Darwin, but giving the spectator very little context each time.
It ends up being a confusing film. Only the performances of Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly are interesting. Too bad. We'll have to wait for another version of Darwin's life.
